I am Hewan a Dublin resident dj, born and grew up in Ethiopia. I describe my taste of music as World Music.
My music selection ranges from jazz to reggae, funk and soul. I play mainly ethiopian grooves from early 60s and 70s golden modern ethioppian music era and I also afrobeat, funk/soul and jazz from Africa and around the world.
I made my festival debute last summer in 4 festivals and have been playing in different venues around Dublin.
