Meath musician Oisin Leech has been treading his well worn melody boots for many is the year now; constantly busy upon the arc of life’s music trail. His Caravan Radio show on RTE Radio 1 has been gracing the airwaves for the last couple of years and has been sending out alchemy and soulfulness in equal measure.
Leech himself has been a touring and recording artist for over two decades collaborating and working alongside everyone from Arctic Monkeys to The Specials to M Ward to Dónal Lunny and Paul Muldoon. He runs a music night called Joey Procida’s Folk Club which has seen the likes of Steve Gunn, Lisa O’Neill, Andy Irvine, Thomas Walsh, Willy Mason and others appear.
Starting out in his busking years with The Fluid Druids he also has toured extensively and internationally with The Lost Brothers playing Glastonbury, SXSW, Other Voices, the BBC Electric Proms and beyond.
At ALS he brings it all back home to Meath and picks out some choice records to weave through the weekend vibes. Expect a hop, a skip, a tear and a bop.
