FURTHER AFIELD
Our beautiful main stage, a bespoke build designed and created by our dear friends Mammals +, Further Afield is nestled in a perfect corner of the back lawns of The Manor – and is set up equally for an afternoon’s lounging or a late night party with some top class Irish and select international guests.
THE FRONT
Debuting in 2022 – The Front is our lovely second stage, housed in a gorgeous tent at the (you guessed it) the front of The Manor and home to a very carefully selected collection of emerging Irish acts, and a hand picked selection of international guests.
TREE HAUS
Another 2022 debut – and Another great collaboration with Mammals + , Tree Haus is our new late night arena. Expect absolutely top class, roaring house music and cutting edge live acts on the stage that we are most proud of. Come dance with us under the red tower, and under the trees!
WAY OUT THERE
This cosy tipi sits on the side of the Manor lawn and plays host to a slightly more nuanced cohort of djs and selectors – with everything from world sounds, jazz, fusion sounds – and straight up party classics. This is a softer landing for those with wider pallets, and dancing feet.
MOON RIVER
Another cosy tips – but this time perfectly pitched on the banks of the River Deel, which winds it’s way through The Manor grounds, and through The Mellow Meadow – our oasis away for all the hubbub of the main festival area. Adventure through the woods and arrive to a programme of music, talks and more from our dearest friend Young Hearts Run Free. Expect incredible creative tales, heart stopping music, and ambient interludes to wind the night down.
THE MELLOW MEADOW
Adventure through the woods and arrive to The Mellow Meadow – our oasis or calm away for all the hubbub of the main festival area nestled on the banks of the gentle River Deel. The MM hosts our ALS Wellness Area with a dedicated programme of Yoga, Massage and workshops, the crucial Bosca Beatha Sauna, The ALS River Swimming Deck, and of course, Moon River – another cosy tipi hosted by our dearest friend Siobhan Kane AKA Young Hearts Run Free – and a programme of music, talks and so much more. Expect incredible creative tales, heart stopping music, and ambient interludes to wind the night down.
THE SHIFT YARD
We were worried we might loose the essence of The Shack when we moved into The Yard, but instead we just got more Shack for our buck – it’s a vibe!
THE MIDDLE WOODS SUMMER SCHOOL
Set in the midst of Granny’s Woods, The Middle Woods Summer School is a new home for conversation, thought, workshops, screenings, and some musical interludes at ALS.
This is a place where we investigate the world we inhabit as a festival, and as individuals, and we gently ask the question – how can we live in a better space?
The Middle Woods Summer School 2024 features contributions from, and is kindly supported by Science Week Ireland, Common Knowledge, Hometree, The Meath Arts Office Music Trail & More.
ALS CRAFT FAIR
Home to a collection of independent artisan craft producers and of course ALS Merch – you can browse to your heart’s content while soundtracked by the gentle sounds of Rub A Dub Soundsystem from early afternoon to late evening.
