We have, for over a decade now, been welcomed with the most open of arms into beautiful Killyon Manor & its grounds by the Purcell family.

From the very beginning – our thought has been to trust people to act kindly and responsibility once here – and that, for the very very most part – has been our experience.

However, in recent years, perhaps as the event grew, we have noticed a creep in some inconsiderate behaviour towards our Manor home.

So, to refocus us all – and to make it super clear that our job and intent here – is to leave this beautiful place exactly as we found it.

That requires effort from us, but also from you Dear Lovers.

PLEASE

  • No Littering
  • That includes cigarette butts.
  • If you see litter on the ground, please pick it up and place it in the correct bin.
  • Take all your belongings from the campsite at the end of the festival. (no excuses)
  • DO NOT use the woods or grounds as a toilet.
  • Especially do not cover the woods or grass in used toilet paper.
  • There are ample toilets available – please use them.
  • Be mindful of trees, roots, flowers – don’t trample off pathways for no reason.

In short – Don’t Mangle The Manor – we’re all grown ups, treat this wonderful place, that you have so generously been allowed into – as you would your own home.

Killyon Manor is a real place – it is not a plaything – it, and the family who live here, deserve your utmost respect, and our continued presence here is very much dependent on your good intent in these matters.

With Love,

ALSx

We introduced car passes in as a way to encourage car-sharing for both the good of the environment, and the preservation of space in our small site.

You can grab a car pass as an Add On when purchasing a weekend ticket, or on arrival at the festival.

Attendees may only sleep in their vehicles if that vehicle is parked in the Camper Van / Caravan Area.

You must hold a Camper Van Pass to park your vehicle / caravan in this area.

Passes are required per vehicle – not per person.

This is separate to your Overnight Camping Ticket.

You must also hold a Overnight Camping Ticket to gain entry to the festival.

Lovers are NOT under any circumstances permitted to sleep in their vehicle in the general car park.

Anyone parking in the main car park must camp in General Camping.

Please note there are no Tents / Gazebos / Awnings allowed in the Campervan Area.

You can take The Love Bus  to ALS from Dublin.

ALS 26 will have aselection of food trucks and vendors catering for all tastes and requirements.

The ALS Bar will serve delicious beers, wines and spirits, and we are delighted to work with partners on some glorious cocktail bars and other beverage options.

__

ALS 2026 is not BYO in the Arena.

You can bring :

  • 12 cans
  • 1 bottle of spirits

into the Campsite (but not the Arena).

__

Why is this?

Increasingly, running a small festival is an endeavour fraught with risk.

Whilst trying to keep ticket prices within reason – extra elements like the Bar form a crucial stream of income for the festival.

As a small, independent festival – we need to ask for your understanding and support in this matter – it makes a huge difference.

There will be a selection of bars serving, beers, mixed drinks and also a really nice cocktail offering too.

We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle and a reusable coffee cup – there will be refill stations throughout the site.

There will be a programme of yoga, massages, therapies, The Bosca Beatha Sauna and more all situated in the gentle riverside surrounds of The Mellow Meadow.

These will be made available to pre book.

ALS is, is by it’s scale and nature, a more gentle and relaxing atmosphere, of which we are very proud – however it is still a party.

Whilst we welcome parents bringing their kids, they should be aware of the following :

Children U 12 are allowed to attend free of charge.

We do not allow 12 – 18 year olds at the festival.

Parents and Guardians are required to register any child in their care with a kids registration ticket.

There is a small, very casual, programme for young kids which will run in the mornings / early afternoon on Saturday and Sunday.

There are no childminding services on site.

Patrons are encouraged to think carefully before bringing kids; the festival can be crowded at peak times, there is loud stages with amplified music and everyone is in open country, camping with exposure to the element.

Patrons bringing children should be very prepared to look after them whilst keeping in mind that their bodies may be more sensitive to the festival environment than their own.

In saying all of this – ALS is by it’s very nature a gentle experience as festivals go – and kids, in general love it.

Please see T’s & C’s for full conditions.

We love a well behaved Pooch at ALS.

However by strong request of our very very supportive landowners – The Purcell family – Dogs are only allowed at ALS26 on the Sunday.

And only, if kept on a leash at all times.

And only, if owners act responsibly in regard to picking up after them.

Anyone found to be ignoring these requests will be asked to leave the festival. (Owner & Hound)

We are aware of the difficulties faced by those with additional accessibility needs, and endeavour to help to improve their experience as best we can.

Below are some details that may allow you to assess event and plan accordingly before arriving :

ALS takes place across working farmland which is not flat in most areas. The ground within the arena and campground can also be rough and uneven. It is kept mowed low but there are often exposed roots and undulations in the surface.

There are hard surfaced roads from the carpark to the Manor, and overall the distances involved are much, much smaller than other festivals.

If you require improved access to our arena from the carpark and campground, please contact us ahead of the event so we can reserve an appropriate camping and carparking space for you in closer proximity to amenities and the stage.

Upon arrival, our gate staff will be able to direct you to these reserved spaces.

There will be toilets equipped with accessible and gender neutral toilet options.

If you hold a valid companion card, this will allow entry to one ticket free of charge in addition to your paid ticket.

Please contact us at info@anotherlovestory.ie to arrange a companion card ticket.

No Illegal Substances.

No Disposable Vapes

No Generators

No Boom Boxes / Speakers of any sort.

No gas cookers, fires or fireworks.

No glass.

No Drones, or Professional Photography equipment to be used on site.
